Policy combines cyber and professional liability coverage

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty S.E., Allianz S.E.’s specialist corporate insurer unit, said Wednesday that it has launched a cyber and professional liability coverage product for North America.

The ACCEPT Protect product allows the option of having policyholders’ cyber and professional liability exposures covered under one policy, AGCS said in a statement.

“For those that do not need the expanded coverage, they can choose the stand-alone cyber solution. For clients that perform services for others, they can incorporate their professional liability under the same program without having to negotiate a second set of policy terms and conditions,” Emy R. Donavan, AGCS’ San Francisco-based North American head of cyber and U.S. errors and omissions head, said in a statement.

Additionally, ACCEPT Protect policyholders will have access to risk management services offered through the Allianz Global Corporate eRiskHub powered by the NetDiligence portal and a panel of industry experts to provide services such as security assessments and solutions, proactive mitigation services and full-scale simulated cyber-attacks, according to the statement.
