Managing general agency buys natural resources wholesaler

Totten Insurance Group said Wednesday it has acquired the shares of Canadian Resources Insurance Solutions Inc.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Canadian Resources is a Sudbury, Ontario-based insurance wholesaler that focuses on natural resources, mining, forestry and construction, Totten said in a statement.

CRIS President Rob Strain will join Toronto-based Totten, according to the statement.
