Generali Global Assistance, a unit of insurer Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A., has launched online identity protection platform Iris OnWatch.

The platform includes access to identity theft resolution experts, opt-out services that allow users to reduce direct mail campaigns and marketing phone calls that are used to steal personal information, protection software that will allow users to secure personal information, access to credit reports and scores, and identity monitoring, Bethesda, Maryland-based Generali Global Assistance said Monday in a statement.

“The platform monitors assets and suspicious activity across the entire spectrum of the internet, and alerts customers immediately to suspicious activity, all through a single online portal,” Paige Schaffer, president and chief operating officer of Generali Global Assistance’s identity and digital protection services global unit, said in the statement.
