Broker poaches exec from rival to head reinsurance

Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford Ltd. said Thursday it named London-based Kieran Angelini-Hurll CEO of its reinsurance division.

This appointment is effective Sept. 1, according to the statement.

Previously, Mr. Angelini-Hurll was head of sales & business development at Miller Insurance Services L.L.P. He succeeds Martin Stephenson who left to join JLT Re, a Cooper Gay spokesman said in an emailed statement.
