Former Willis exec joins rival

London-based Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford Ltd. on Wednesday said Jonathan Prinn has been named head of global placement, effective Sept. 12.

Mr. Prinn, who will report to group CEO Steve Hearn in his new position, joins Cooper Gay from Willis Towers Watson P.L.C., where he served most recently as deputy head of broking at Willis GB. “Jonathan is the latest in a series of senior appointment which offer a glimpse of our ambitions for the future,” Mr. Hearn said in a statement. “He has an outstanding track record of implementing industry leading technology and broking solutions which will significantly enhance our proposition and firmly position us a new force in the market.”
