Former Guy Carpenter exec moves over to JLT Re

JLT Re, the reinsurance brokerage arm of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group P.L.C., on Tuesday said it has named Philadelphia-based Mark Shumway global head of strategic advisory.

Based in Philadelphia, Mr. Shumway will report to David Flandro, whom he succeeds as global head of strategic advisory. Mr. Flandro now serves as global head of analytics, according to the statement.

Previously, Mr. Shumway was managing director and head of strategic advisory for the Asia-Pacific region at Guy Carpenter & Co. L.L.C.
