Munich Re executives promoted

Munich Reinsurance America Inc. said Tuesday that it had appointed Stephen Hochburger and Paul Ludwig as senior vice presidents and client executives for the Reinsurance Division.

They will report to Division President Steven Levy and serve on the Reinsurance Division executive leadership team.

Mr. Hochburger is currently head of the property certificate and program team within the Reinsurance Division. During his 29-year career with the company, he has been a reinsurance client manager, and has treaty and facultative underwriting experience in both casualty and property.

Mr. Ludwig currently manages the financial/strategic management and underwriting support department within the Specialty Markets Division. He was previously head of the planning & controlling department.
