Allianz names regional head of aviation

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty S.E. on Tuesday said it has named Toronto-based Michael Hansen regional head of aviation for North America.

In this newly created role, Mr. Hansen will be responsible for leading the aviation business, Allianz Global said in a statement.

Previously, Mr. Hansen was deputy chief underwriting officer at XL Catlin Aerospace.
