Munich Re, Asian Development Bank sign agreement to boost trade in Asia
Posted On: Jun. 15, 2016 12:00 AM CSTMunich Reinsurance Co. and the Asian Development Bank have entered into an agreement on $250 million cover to help ADB's Trade Finance Program boost trade in Asia, reported Business Standard.
Munich Re will provide up to $250 million insurance capacity on financing of trade transactions conducted by the program.
The reinsurer will provide the cover via one of its specialist primary insurers.
