Global Parametrics, a parametric risk transfer provider backed by a third-party capitalized risk fund, has been launched to provide parametric risk transfer and index insurance coverage to organizations which are largely unprotected, reported Artemis.bm.
Global Parametrics will offer derivative risk transfer products to enable these organizations to better protect their financing and operations against the negative effects of natural disasters, while sharing the risk with third-party investors via the Natural Disaster Fund.
