Ironshore names ex-AIG property underwriter chief underwriting officer

Ironshore Inc. has named Boston-based Shawn Homand chief underwriting officer of global property.

Mr. Homand will oversee underwriting responsibilities and global product growth strategies throughout Ironshore’s property platform, Hamilton, Bermuda-based Ironshore said in a Tuesday statement.

Previously, Mr. Homand was property underwriting officer for the Americas region for American International Group Inc., according to the statement.
