Indian Nuclear Insurance Pool to cover suppliers' risk
Posted On: May. 25, 2016 12:00 AM CSTGeneral Insurance Corp. of India-led Indian Nuclear Insurance Pool plans to launch a product to cover the risks of suppliers under the Civil Liability for Nuclear Damage Act 2010, reports The Indian Express.
The proposal has been approved by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India.
Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. is seeking changes in some conditions of the proposal, said officials at India's Department of Atomic Energy.
