Quake data of Turkey, Morocco incorporated in Aon Benfield's disaster risk tool
Posted On: May. 23, 2016 12:00 AM CSTU.S.-based Impact Forecasting L.L.C., subsidiary of reinsurance broker Aon Benfield Inc., has incorporated earthquake data, for 31 nations including Turkey and Morocco, into the ThinkHazard! tool, reported Middle East Insurance Review.
The tool has been produced by the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery and supports disaster risk preparedness and reduction.
As well as Turkey and Morocco, the other nations that were identified by GFDRR as priorities for earthquake hazard data include Uganda, Serbia, Kenya and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
