U.K. automaker Vauxhall recalls 235,000 cars again over fire risk

U.K.-based automaker Vauxhall Motors Holdings Ltd. plans to recall 235,000 Zafira cars in the country for a second time to fix the vehicle's blower motor’s resister and fuse that could cause fires, The Telegraph reported.

The automaker had recalled the cars in December 2015 following instances of fires. Repairs carried out under the first recall were expected to keep the vehicle safe for around six years. Repairs under the second recall will begin in August and will be more permanent.
