BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

AIR Worldwide said Monday it released a hosted cloud solution for its catastrophe risk management platforms Touchstone and Catrader that enables companies to conduct all of their analyses remotely while minimizing expenses.

The AIR Cloud provides a secure, scalable way to access Touchstone that offers all the benefits, features, and security of an on-premises installation without the expense of maintaining a catastrophe modeling platform on-site, AIR said in a statement.

Companies can access their catastrophe modeling platform from anywhere on any device at any time to conduct detailed risk analyses, with no special software or third-party plug-ins required. The AIR Cloud also reduces demand for information technnology resources because AIR handles all installation, maintenance, and support, the Boston-based? company said.

“AIR is committed to providing clients with the catastrophe modeling environment that works best for their organization, whether on-premises or in the cloud,” Peter Lewis, senior vice president at AIR Worldwide, said in the statement. “Increasingly, companies are looking for ways to perform sophisticated risk management analyses without undertaking the large capital expenditure required to build a catastrophe modeling environment on-site. With the AIR Cloud, clients can leverage the high-performance technology of Touchstone to conduct all their analyses remotely.”
