And the 2016 Benefit Manager of the Year is …

Business Insurance announced Wednesday that Philia Swam, manager of health, wellness and group benefits at LafargeHolcim U.S., is the 2016 Benefit Manager of the Year^®.

Ms. Swam has worked at LafargeHolcim since 1998. Last year, she managed the U.S. benefits transition as Lafarge S.A. merged with Holcim Ltd. to create Jona, Switzerland-based cement, aggregates and concrete manufacturing company LafargeHolcim Ltd.

In 2011, Ms. Swam was named to the Benefit Management Honor Roll^®.

In addition, Business Insurance named Mike Greenberg, New York-based vice president-benefits at Hudson's Bay Co., to the 2016 Benefit Management Honor Roll^®.

Mr. Greenberg joined the Toronto-based retailer in 2014 and was tasked with harmonizing all U.S. employee benefits, benefits administration and benefit communication for Hudson's Bay's Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord & Taylor stores by Jan. 1, 2016.

The honorees were selected by an independent panel of judges composed of last year's winners and benefits industry professionals.
