Ralph Ronnenberg named managing director of Munich Re's Australasia unit

Munich Reinsurance Co. has appointed Ralph Ronnenberg as managing director of its Australia-based unit Munich Holdings of Australasia Pty. Ltd., reported Asia Insurance Review.

Mr. Ronnenberg will succeed Heinrich Eder on July 1 and will be responsible for all nonlife reinsurance operations in Australia and New Zealand. Mr. Ronnenberg will also be responsible for Munich Re's Great Lakes Australia branch.
