Filling protection gap in emerging markets a long-term opportunity: Swiss Re CFO

Swiss Re Ltd. chief financial officer David Cole has said in an interview that the process of increasing the amount of insurance and reinsurance protection in emerging markets will take decades, reports Reuters.

"The protection gap that we see in the emerging markets is something that represents a very long term opportunity," said Mr. Cole.
