Foreign exchange swings could weigh on Talanx results: Official

Torsten Leue, who is responsible for German insurer and reinsurer Talanx A.G.'s international retail business division, said that "foreign exchange swings in many emerging markets" could weigh on the results at division in 2016, reports Daily Mail citing Reuters.

The swings "weighed on our results in 2015 and the effect certainly won't be neutral in 2016 either," said Mr. Leue.

"We're feeling the headwinds," added Mr. Leue. However, he added that the division is on track to achieve its goal of increasing premiums by at least 10% on average over the medium term.
