Cybercriminals increasingly target Singaporean banks, experts say

Experts have said that cybercriminals are increasingly targeting banks in Singapore, reports AsiaOne citing The Business Times.

"As one of the top financial centers in the world, Singapore banks will continue to face the risk of being more vulnerable, as technologies continue to evolve to keep pace with business and consumer needs," a PricewaterhouseCoopers L.L.P. official said.

The most common banking cyber attack in the country is through a redirection technique via a Trojan, International Business Machines Corp. said.
