Floods hit Saudi Arabia, Yemen

Officials said that heavy storms and downpours have killed at least 42 people in Saudi Arabia and Yemen so far, reported The National.

Floods damaged several houses and cut off roads in Yemen's Amran and Hajjah city. Officials said rains and floods caused huge damage to property. Sources reported that a dam burst in Yemen's Al Mahwit region, causing flooding of farmland and the collapse of bridges. Floods also affected roadways in Saudi Arabia's Riyadh and Mecca cities, among others.
