5.5-magnitude quake hits Taiwan
Posted On: Apr. 12, 2016 12:00 AM CSTTaiwan's Central Weather Bureau has said that a 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck off eastern Taiwan, reported Focus Taiwan News Channel.
The bureau said that the quake was centered 46 kilometers east-southeast of Yilan County at a depth of 57.2 km. The tremors were felt in the country's Nantou, Yilan and Hualien counties, said the bureau. No damage or injuries from the quake have been reported yet.
