Honda recalls 143,000 vehicles in Japan

Japanese automaker Honda Motor Co. Ltd. has recalled around 143,000 vehicles in Japan after an airbag inflator made by the country's Daicel Corp. failed to deploy in a collision, reported Bloomberg.

A Daicel spokesman said that the firm has stopped production of the inflator and is cooperating with the automaker to conduct the recall.
