Marsh & McLennan Agency acquires benefits consulting firm

Marsh & McLennan Agency L.L.C. said Monday that it has acquired Corporate Consulting Services Ltd.
The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Corporate Consulting Services is a New York-based insurance brokerage and human resource consulting firm that provides employee benefits, retirement planning, and human resources consulting services, Marsh & McLennan Agency said in a statement.
Corporate Consulting Services generates $6 million in annual revenues and has 20 employees. All of their employees are joining Marsh & McLennan Agency's Northeast region. Corporate Consulting Services will continue to operate out of its New York office under the leadership of its president and CEO Grant Dougherty. Corporate Consulting Services will immediately begin operating under the Marsh & McLennan Agency name, according to the statement.
