BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Chubb Ltd. has named Melbourne, Australia-based Darren Cant as its head of risk engineering for property/casualty in Asia-Pacific.

Mr. Cant will continue in his role to lead the region’s property/casualty risk engineering services team. He will retain his current oversight of the property/casualty risk engineering team in Melbourne, Chubb said Thursday in a statement.

“Darren and his team will provide our insureds with a holistic view of risk that covers both first- and third-party exposures. They will also assist in developing pragmatic ways to reduce, eliminate or mitigate such risks — a testament to our world-class global risk engineering practice,” Paul McNamee, deputy regional president and head of property/casualty in the Asia-Pacific, said in the statement.
