BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Emergency responders routinely win praise for selflessly putting themselves into harm's way, and their four-legged canine companions often share the same risks.

Thanks to an award called Healthcare for K9 Heroes, one such police dog in eastern Iowa's Black Hawk County is now covered under pet health insurance, according to kwwl.com in Waterloo, Iowa.

Loki is one of only 10 such hounds nationwide that has earned the distinction available to law enforcement dogs ages 2 through 7.

The $10,000 grant reportedly will cover on-the-job injuries as well as illness, testing and therapy.

Loki is no stranger to accolades greater than the usual, “Who's a good boy?” He was previously awarded a bulletproof vest from the same organization, Vested Interest in K9s, kwwl.com reported.
