Finnish defense ministry website faces cyber attack

Finland's Ministry of Defense said that its website has suffered a denial-of-service attack, Reuters reports.

The cyber attack prompted the ministry to divert web traffic to a temporary site.

Kristian Vakkuri, an official at the ministry, said that it had experienced a similar attack weeks ago.

"Other ministries' websites were also targeted in February," said Mr. Vakkuri.
