Audi halts production at Brussels plant following terror attacks

German luxury automaker Audi A.G. has halted production at its factory in the Forest district of Brussels, Belgium, following terror attacks in the city, reported Automotive News citing Reuters.

The company asked its late shift staff of 1,100 workers to stay at home.

The late shift was scheduled to manufacture around 250 units of the automaker's A1 subcompact car.

Audi said that it expects to recover the number fully later.
