Swiss Re establishes North American aviation team

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Ltd. said on Wednesday that it has established a North American aviation insurance team.

The Santa Ana, California-based team will provide access to Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ products, underwriting expertise and financial strength, Swiss Re said in a statement.

Hugo Reyes will continue to serve as senior underwriter for general aviation for the U.S. Merry Rogers will serve as aviation underwriter. Previously, Ms. Rogers was senior vice president at WorldLink Specialty Insurance Services Inc.

“The new general aviation team in Santa Ana showcases our commitment to the North American aviation insurance market and enables us to strengthen relationships in the region,” Paul O’Ryan, Swiss Re head of general aviation North America, said in the statement. “Brokers and clients on the West Coast will benefit from having aviation insurance experts in their own time zone.”
