Swiss railway firm, supermarket chains suffer cyber attacks
Posted On: Mar. 22, 2016 12:00 AM CSTSeveral Swiss companies have been recently hit by denial-of-service attacks, which paralyzed their telephone and IT systems, reported Swissinfo.ch citing NZZ am Sonntag newspaper.
The worst hit websites belonged to Swiss supermarket chains Migros Ticaret A.S. and Coop Cooperative as well as the Swiss Federal Railways.
The hackers also attempted to blackmail the targeted companies.
