Relatives of Flydubai plane crash victims to get insurance payments

Russia's Transport minister Maxim Sokolov said that insurance payments to relatives of those killed in a recent Flydubai plane crash "will be regulated by the Montreal Convention," Interfax Ukraine reports.

The Flydubai Boeing 737 crashed in Russia's Rostov-on-Don city while attempting to land, killing all 55 passengers and seven crewmembers on board.

The airline's operations were insured for $500 million, Mr. Sokolov said.
