Reinsurance demand to grow as terms get even better, Jardine Lloyd CEO says

Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group P.L.C. chief executive Dominic Burke expects to see an increase in reinsurance demand from cedents as they recognize that "reinsurance is an extremely efficient form of capital" at current pricing levels, Artemis.bm reported.

Some reinsurance buyers are seeing an opportunity to acquire coverage at its lowest risk-adjusted level ever given the current market conditions. "As we enter 2016, there are signs that demand for reinsurance is increasing," said Mr. Burke.
