Ubiquitous TV celebrity Kim Kardashian can't even get into a fender bender without getting extra attention.

Workers compensation insurer Applied Risk Services Inc. sued Ms. Kardashian March 1 over a 2014 car accident on Sunset Boulevard near Benedict Canyon Drive in Los Angeles, according to reports.

Rafael Antonio Linares of Moreno Valley, California, alleges that he was injured in the crash with the car Ms. Kardashian was driving. He was driving his vehicle for contracting firm John Paul Co. Inc. of Van Nuys, California. Applied Risk Services is John Paul Co.'s comp carrier.

MynewsLA.com reported that “Linares has had to seek medical care and his car was damaged and is now worth less than before the collision, according to his court papers.”

Applied Risk is reportedly seeking recovery of Mr. Linares' comp costs.
