British E.U. exit could hit insurer investment portfolio

U.K.-based Direct Line Insurance Group P.L.C.'s chief financial officer John Reizenstein said that the insurer's investment portfolio may be hit if Britain votes to leave the European Union, Reuters reported.

Mr. Reizenstein also said that Brexit could also cause regulatory uncertainty.

He added that the move could also raise questions over the Solvency II capital rules for insurers.
