Ransomware attacks hit hospitals in Germany
Posted On: Mar. 1, 2016 12:00 AM CSTSeveral hospitals in Germany are facing disruption as cryptographically coded ransomware are affecting their computer systems, reported Hacked citing Deutsche Welle.
This follows recent similar attack on a Hollywood hospital, which was forced to pay a ransom of $17,000 in bitcoin.
The Lukas Hospital in the country's Neuss city and another in the North Rhine-Westphalia state are among the two affected by ransomware.
Their operations continue to be disrupted.
