XL Catlin, Ventus partner to offer commercial property insurance to SMEs

Insurer XL Catlin and managing general underwriter Ventus Risk Management have teamed up to offer commercial property insurance to small and mid-sized enterprises, reported Artemis.bm.

XL Catlin, Ventus and some distribution partners will offer "unique property insurance solutions" focused on property catastrophe risks for SMEs. The offerings will have the backing of both alternative and traditional capital. Collateralized catastrophe reinsurance funds will also support the partnership, said XL Catlin.
