Cargo thefts cost pharmaceutical firms $33 million annually

A recent survey by a cargo expert has found that European pharmaceutical firms lose about €30 million ($33.3 million) due to cargo thefts every year, in-PharmaTechnologist reported.

The study found that Italy is a hot spot for cargo theft. The study also identified Germany's Dusseldorf, South East of England and Russia's Moscow as areas of concern. Some firms that participated in the survey forecast that such crime would increase with the Mafia's more "business like" approach.
