$1.72 billion damage to farming sector likely from drought: Economist

Climate change and extreme weather are responsible for the drought, said Mr. Attavanich.
Damage to the farming sector from climate change could range from THB 600 billion to THB 2.5 trillion between 2005 and 2045, said Mr. Attavanich.
