New CEO named for Bowring Marsh

Tom Davies has been appointed global CEO of Bowring Marsh, the international wholesale placement brokerage arm of Marsh L.L.C, the brokerage announced Monday.

Mr. Davies replaces Andrew Chester, who will move to a senior role within Marsh’s global placement team, a spokesman said.

Mr. Davies, who will be based in London, previously led Bowring Marsh’s hub in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

“Under Tom’s leadership, Bowring Marsh’s operations in the United Kingdom and Ireland have delivered exceptional value for clients,” Dean Klisura, global head of industry specialties and placement at Marsh L.L.C., in New York, said in a statement.

“With his skills and experience, Tom is ideally suited to lead Bowring Marsh globally and expand our services to clients across our key placement hubs,” he added.
