ISO opens management and professional liability unit in New Jersey

Verisk Analytics Inc.’s Insurance Services Office Inc. on Monday said it has launched a management and professional liability unit in Jersey City, New Jersey.

The management and professional liability unit will lead the development of new and revised coverage options, and actuarial and analytics solutions. The team will also focus on ISO's excess and surplus and reinsurance solutions, ISO said in the statement.

Based in Jersey City, Stephen Whelan, Michael Doyle, and Barbara Russo have joined the ISO unit, according to the statement.

Mr. Whelan will serve as product development director; previously, he was an executive at Everest Specialty Underwriters L.L.C. Ms. Russo will serve as managing director of excess and surplus; previously, she was head of the international segment for Zurich Insurance Group Ltd.'s global corporate business unit in North America. Mr. Doyle will serve as actuarial director for specialty lines; previously, he was the actuarial director at ProSight Specialty Insurance Co.
