Banks vulnerable to cyber attacks

Yos Kimsawate, an official at Thai Bankers' Association, has called on banks to boost their cyber security in wake of the recent cyber attacks on the nation's government websites last October, reports La Prensa citing Agencia EFE.

Mr. Kimsawate said that the association is worried about cyber threats even though Thai banks have not been hit by any major attacks. "The issue is getting closer to us," said Mr. Kimsawate.
