Crimea's blackout cost enterprises $14 million

The Prosecutor's Office of Crimea has said that the November 2015 blackout caused more than 1.1 billion Russian rubles ($14 million) in damage to Crimean enterprises, TASS News Agency reported.

The nation was without power on Nov. 22, 2015, after unknown assailants blew up electricity pylons in Kherson, Ukraine. According to power firm OJSC Krymenergo, "the damage amounts to RUB 1.124 billion," said the Prosecutor's Office of Crimea.
