Flood damage bill set to hit $109 million in Ireland

The damage bill from the recent floods in Ireland is set to hit €100 million ($109 million), reported The Irish Times.

Government sources said that the cost of infrastructural damage and the clean-up is expected to be "significantly higher" than the €60 million previously indicated.

The country's Minister for the Environment and Minister for Transport are likely to provide an accurate damage bill soon.
