Damage to power infrastructure from West Australia bushfire

Damage to power infrastructure in Western Australia from the recent bushfire has been pegged at up to $26 million Australian ($17.8 million), reported 9news.com.au citing Australian Associated Press.

The nation's energy minister Mike Nahan said that the bushfires have damaged 44 transformers, about 950 poles and up to 50 kilometers of overhead conductor in the state's South West region.
