British, U.S. investors to sue Volkswagen over emissions test scandal

German law firm Nieding + Barth Rechtsanwalts A.G. plans to sue German automaker Volkswagen A.G. on behalf of 66 institutional investors from Britain and the United States over the emissions scandal, reported Reuters.

Nieding + Barth intends to seek damages worth hundreds of millions of euros for the decline in Volkswagen's share price due to emissions test scandal.

The automaker's share price has fallen by around 30% since it accepted to having installed a software to cheat U.S. emission tests.
