Blizzards cause havoc in Eastern Europe

Parts of Poland, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Serbia and Romania were covered in snow, while Croatia's Adriatic coast experienced strong winds and sub-zero temperatures.
In Romania, three flights and 20 trains have been cancelled, 12 roads and three Black Sea ports have been closed, and 14 communities have suffered power outages.
Bulgaria has experienced snowfall of up to 15 inches, while air traffic and ferry services have been disrupted in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
