Broker Holmes Murphy joins collaborative national network

Insurance brokerage Holmes Murphy & Associates Inc. has joined Collaboration Centric Solutions, an organization formed by independent employee benefit firms, as one of six members, Collaboration Centric Solutions announced Wednesday.

Holmes Murphy, based in West Des Moines, Iowa, with offices throughout the Midwest and Southwest, sells employee benefits and property/casualty products.

Collaboration Centric Solutions, known as C2, comprises six regional independent firms that together operate nationwide. Each firm operates autonomously, but can leverage the expertise and complementary products and services from the other members, according to the statement.

The equity-owned partnership also includes Kistler-Tiffany Benefits Co., M3 Insurance Solutions Inc., McGohan Brabender Inc., Scott Insurance and The Partners Group Ltd., C2 said in the statement.

Through the partnership, Holmes Murphy will now have access to C2's preferred insurers, pharmacy benefit managers, and other health and technology providers, according to the statement.

“Over time, our partnership has grown, and we continue to look for select, new members to join our organization to present powerful, client-focused solutions tailored to the specific and unique needs of a broad range of businesses and communities. Whether through expanding our ability to serve in more markets throughout the nation, or by offering the latest, innovative solutions, Holmes Murphy is the perfect example of expanding our footprint and expertise with a like-minded firm,” C2 Executive Director Kate Moher said in the statement.

“C2 helps make us smarter and faster. The end result is greater expertise and efficiency for our customers,” Holmes Murphy President Den Bishop said in the statement.

Holmes Murphy is the 31st largest broker of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance's latest ranking.
