European trains vulnerable to cyber attacks: Russian hackers

European trains are vulnerable to cyber attacks as a group of Russian hackers have found loopholes in the computer systems that control the train networks, reports HackRead citing The Register.

Hijacking and derailment of trains is easily possible if hackers succeed in exploiting the vulnerabilities in the system.

Reliability, economic and safety threats are the three different threats to the railway systems due to the loopholes, said one of the hackers.
