Insurer FBD's shareholders agree to $76 million investment by Fairfax Financial

Irish insurer FBD Holdings P.L.C.'s shareholders have agreed to the final terms of the €70 million ($76 million) capital investment by Canada-based Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd., Irish Independent reported.

The shareholders voted in favor of two resolutions related to the loan. The resolutions were put up for vote to help FBD meet the Solvency II regulations.
