Cyber attacks against businesses double in 2015: Kaspersky

Research by Russian security firm Kaspersky Lab Z.A.O. has found that the number of cyber attacks against businesses doubled in 2015, reported Tech City News‎.

Around 58% of business computers were hit with at least one attempted malware infection, according to Kaspersky. About 29% of corporate computers were exposed to an internet-based attack at least once, whereas 41% faced local threats like infected USB sticks. Financial services organizations were the main targets of cybercriminals and advanced persistent threat groups in 2015.
